4th Bandung Creative Movement International Conference on Creative Industries 2017




You are cordially invited to participate in the 4th Bandung Creative Movement International Conference on Creative Industries 2017 to be held at Telkom University Campus, Bandung, Indonesia, October 9-10, 2017.

The main objective of 4th BCM 2017 is to provide a platform for researchers, creative people, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Design, Society, Technology, and Business. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.

All submissions will be reviewed by at least two independent peers for technical merit and content. It is anticipated that a broad range of research and applied topics will be covered during the conference.

All accepted papers will also be published in a special issue of Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (ISSN Print: 2330-8176; ISSN Online: 2330-8184) with special title (Creative Industries: The role of Art and Technology in Society) published by Science Publishing Group, New York. and indexed with some international databases, including these leading databases: Google Scholar (Through repository in, CNKI Scholar, Etc. Each paper will be labeled with a Digital Object Identification Number (DOI) provided by Cross Ref.

Best and Selected papers will be published in Scopus Indexed Journals, published by Universiti Sains Malaysia or Taylors University Malaysia.

Conference Registration Fee

Early Registration Before July 20, 2017 US$400
Regular Registration After July 20, 2017 US$450


  1. No matter your submission is single-authored or multi-authored, if you would like to have your accepted submission published in the conference proceedings, registration fee is US$400 for each submission before July 20, 2017 or US$450 after July 20, 2017.
  2. In case your submission is multi-authored and more than one author would like to participate in the conference, each participant needs to register and pay the registration fee separately.
  3. Every registered participant will get a copy of conference proceedings in CD-ROM format and admission to all conference sessions.
  4. Special offer for Indonesian/ASEAN citizen/African Union/Indian Subcontinent Authors special offer .

Cancellation Policy for the Conference registration: If we receive your written cancellation before July 20, 2017, the registration fee will be refunded, with an administrative fee US$100 deduction. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after July 20, 2017.

  1. General Information

Language: All manuscripts should be written in English — British or American as long as consistency is observed.

Acknowledgements: All contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an acknowledgments section. Examples of those who might be acknowledged include a person who provided purely technical help, writing assistance, or a department chairperson who provided only general support. Financial and material support should also be acknowledged.

Conflict of interest and funding: Authors are responsible for disclosing financial support from the industry or other conflicts of interest that might bias the interpretation of results.

Statistic validity: If complicated statistical data are provided, the authors may be requested to submit a statement issued by a certified statistician regarding the validity of methods used.

Design is a process of translating ideas into conceptions to match needs and create a better life. Furthermore, it transforms a concept into ideas required, feasible, and valuable. Sub-topics covered in this track include (but are not limited to):

Good products start with the needs of users in which numerous consideration must be taken into account on design process as a problem solver in a society life. New ways of making human activities more easily, efficiently and looks aesthetically better. The technology that applies interactive computer elements and create digital fusion to communicate with the audience. Sub-topics covered in this track include (but are not limited to):

Business, Management, and Entrepreneurial

Emphasizing designs as a priority brings creativity into organizations and increases the opportunity to lead the global market and the competition. Designs can facilitate companies to engage dialogue with their customers, thereby it enables the companies to be more efficiently innovate by reducing the risks.
